One Pot Sausage Pasta – CE
dinner rolls and salad

Ingredients

Prep
  • 1 lb smoked sausage
  • 1 C frozen chopped onions
  • 1 C frozen chopped bell pepper
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 2 t dried basil
  • 2 T minced garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste
On Cooking Day
  • 1 lb spaghetti noodles
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1/2 t crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 pkg dinner rolls

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Slice sausage into bite size pieces and add to large zipper bag with remaining ingredients.
To Cook
  1. Add sausage mixture, dry spaghetti noodles and 4 1/2 cups water to large stockpot.
  2. Bring to a boil and simmer covered 8-10 minutes (stir occasionally). Add parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes before serving.
  3. Cook dinner rolls according to package directions.
  4. Serve with salad and dinner rolls.
