Prep
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 t pepper
  • 1 T dried thyme
  • 1/4 C olive oil
  • 1/4 C Dijon mustard
  • 4 lb roast any kind
On Cooking Day
  • 2 C water
  • 2 bag frozen mashed potato steamer
  • 16 oz frozen green beans

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Mix first 5 ingredients in a small bowl.
  2. Brush mixture over roast with pastry brush. Store roast in large zipper bag. Zip to seal.
To Cook
  1. Place roast in slow cooker. Add 2 cups water. Cook on low for 10 hours.
  2. Cook mashed potatoes and green beans according to package directions.
