Ingredients

Prep
  • 2 1/2 lb pork shoulder
  • 1 C root beer
  • 2 C BBQ sauce
On Cooking Day
  • 1 bag frozen french fries
  • 2 C shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 green onion sliced
  • 1 C sour cream
  • 6 C salad greens

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Add all ingredients to large zipper bag. Zip to seal.
To Cook
  1. Pour pork mixture into slow cooker. Cook on low for 8-10 hours.
  2. Shred pork. Cook fries according to package directions.
  3. Layer pork and cheese on top of fries. Return to oven for 5-10 more minutes (until cheese is melted).
  4. Garnish with sliced green onion and sour cream.
  5. Serve with side salad.
