Honey Balsamic Pulled Pork

Ingredients

ingredients need for assembly
  • 3 pounds Pork Roast
  • 1 t minced garlic
  • 1 t garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 C balsamic vinegar
  • 3/4 C honey or brown sugar
  • 1 C ketchup
  • 2 t Worcestershire sauce
ingredients needed on cooking day
  • 2 C water
  • 1 package hamburger buns
  • 6 C salad greens

Instructions

  1. Add first 4 ingredients to large zipper bag.
  2. Add remaining ingredients vinegar-worcestershire to a small bowl with lid. Mix well
cooking directions
  1. Add pork to slow cooker with 2 cups water and cook on low for 10 hours.
  2. Pour vinegar mixture into saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer on low for 8-10 minutes until sauce thickens and reduces.
  3. Shred pork with 2 forks and mix with half the sauce. Reserve other half of sauce for serving.
  4. Serve on buns with salad on the side.
