Garlicky Chicken and Brussel Sprouts

Ingredients

Needed for Assembly
  • 6 chicken cutlets
  • 2 T dried parsley flakes
  • 1/2 t dried red pepper flakes optional
  • 3 T minced garlic
  • 2 T olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 lbs brussel sprouts
  • 3 T balsamic vinegar
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 2 T honey
Needed on Cooking Day
  • 1 bag steamers mashed potatoes

Instructions

Assembly
  1. Add chicken to large zipper bag with next 5 ingredients.
  2. Zip and squish to mix well.
  3. Chop brussel sprouts in half (trim stems if desired) and add to another large zipper bag along with next 3 ingredients.
  4. Zip and squish to mix.
Cooking
  1. Place chicken on a large baking sheet sprayed with nonstick spray.
  2. Pour brussel sprouts around chicken and roast in a 400-degree oven for 20-25 minutes.
  3. Cook mashed potatoes according to package directions.
