Easy Chicken Parmesan Spaghetti – C

Ingredients

Prep
  • cooking spray
  • 48 oz jarred spaghetti sauce
  • 3 C shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 lb spaghetti noodles broken
  • 1/2 C water
  • 2 t minced garlic
  • 1 t Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 t crushed red pepper optional
  • 1 C grated Parmesan cheese
  • 24 oz frozen chicken patties or chicken nuggets
On Cooking Day
  • 6 C green salad
  • 1 pkg garlic bread

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Spray a casserole dish with cooking spray and set aside.
  2. Add half of the spaghetti sauce, half of the mozzarella, and the next 2 ingredients to the casserole dish. Stir to combine making pasta is covered.
  3. In a medium bowl, add the remaining spaghetti sauce and the next 3 ingredients. Stir to combine.
  4. Layer frozen chicken patties (or nuggets) on top of the spaghetti. Spread the seasoned sauce on top of the chicken and sprinkle with Parmesan and the remaining shredded mozzarella. Cover with foil.
To Cook
  1. Bake, covered, at 375 for 25-35 minutes. Remove foil and continue to cook for 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
  2. Prepare garlic bread per package instructions. Serve with salad.
