Ingredients

Prep
  • 6 formed hamburger patties lean
  • 1 T steak seasoning Montreal
  • 12 oz fresh sliced mushrooms optional
  • 1 1/2 C frozen chopped onion
  • 1/4 C whole wheat flour or gluten free flour
  • 1 1/2 C beef broth
  • pepper to taste
On Cooking Day
  • 16 oz frozen peas
  • 1 bag frozen mashed potato steamer
  • 1/2 C heavy cream

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Sprinkle hamburger patties with steak seasoning.
  2. Store in large container with lid. Use wax paper between layers.
  3. Add last 5 ingredients to medium container with lid.
To Cook
  1. Spray slow cooker with non stick spray. Add meat patties.
  2. Shake broth mixture well and pour half over meat patties.
  3. Repeat layers.
  4. Cook on low for 5-6 hours.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and cook 15 minutes on high.
  6. Cook peas and potatoes according to package directions.
