Creamy Bacon Chicken – C
rice and peas

Ingredients

Prep
  • 6 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 pkg real bacon bits
  • 1 t paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
On Cooking Day
  • 1 C heavy whipping cream
  • 1 pkg frozen peas
  • 2 pkg frozen rice steamers

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Lay chicken breasts in large baking dish sprayed with non stick spray.
  2. Chop bacon and sprinkle over (and under) chicken. Sprinkle with paprika, salt and pepper. Cover with foil.
To Cook
  1. Uncover and bake in a 375 degree oven for 45 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. Pour cream over top and cook additional 5-7 minutes or until cream thickens slightly.
  2. Cook rice and peas according to package directions.
