Cake Mix Donuts

Ingredients

Prep
  • 1 cake mix any flavor, 15.25 ounce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 C water
  • 1/4 C vegetable oil
On Cooking Day
  • 16 oz ready made icing
  • 1/4 C sprinkles optional

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Grease donut pan or mini donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients.
  3. Transfer to gallon zipper bag (or icing bag). Cut a corner off to squeeze batter into the donut pan filling 2/3 full for mini donuts and 1/2 full for regular donuts.
To Cook
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Bake donuts for 10-14 minutes.
  3. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes, then ice donuts and put on toppings, if desired.
