Cajun Brown Sugar Salmon – CE
rice, broccoli

Prep
  • 5 T dark brown sugar
  • 3 t Cajun seasoning
  • 1 t garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 salmon fillets
  • 1 broccoli florets
  • 1/4 C olive oil
On Cooking Day
  • 2 bag frozen brown rice steamers

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Mix first 4 ingredients in a small bowl. Place salmon filets in large zipper bag and sprinkle spice mixture over them. Squish gently to coat salmon.
  2. Cut broccoli into small florets and place in a large zipper bag with oil.
To Cook
  1. Place seasoned salmon on foil-lined baking sheet. Place broccoli around the salmon. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes. Broil on high for 3 minutes to brown tops on fish and veggies.
  2. Prepare rice according to package directions.
