Broiled Steak and Veggies- CE

Ingredients

Prep
  • 1 1/2 lb fresh green beans
  • 2 C grape tomatoes
  • 2 T olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 lb sirloin steak or any kind
  • 6 T butter softened
  • 3 T crumbled bleu cheese
  • 1 t dried thyme
On Cooking Day
  • 1 pkg frozen mashed potato steamer

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Add first 4 ingredients to large zipper bag. Zip to seal and squish to mix. Add steaks to another zipper bag. Season with salt and pepper and seal.
  2. Mix well- butter, cheese, and thyme in a bowl with lid.
To Cook
  1. Place green beans and tomatoes on a large baking sheet and broil for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove pan and move veggies to the side. Add steaks to the pan. Return baking sheet to oven; broil until steaks are desired degree of doneness, (about 4 to 6 minutes per side). Remove from oven; let steaks rest 5 minutes before slicing.
  3. Cook potatoes according to package directions. Serve butter with steaks.
