Breakfast Ham and Cheese Croissant Bake – OP1

Ingredients

Prep
  • 4 large croissants baked and ready
  • 8 oz cooked chopped ham
  • 2 C shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 eggs large
  • 1 C half and half
  • 1 T dried mustard powder
  • 2 T honey
  • 1/4 t pepper
On Cooking Day
  • 1 pint strawberries
  • 1 C blueberries

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Slice croissants in half and place cut side up in baking dish (sprayed with non stick spray) large enough to fit them all snuggly.
  2. Sprinkle with ham and cheese.
  3. Blend next 5 ingredients in a small blender or whisk until blended and pour over croissants.
To Cook
  1. Uncover croissant mixture and bake in a 350 degree oven for 25-35 minutes or until center is set. Serve with sliced strawberries and blueberries.

*best on day 1 or 2. If cooking later in the week, keep egg mixture separate until 24 hours before cooking.
