Baked Ham and Swiss Sliders – C
Potato chips and pickle spears

Ingredients

Prep
  • 16 dinner rolls or 12 slider rolls cut in half
  • 1/2 lb sliced deli ham
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 C mayonnaise optional
  • 1 1/2 T Dijon mustard
  • 6 T butter
  • 1 t onion powder
  • 1/2 t Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 T poppy seeds optional
  • 1/4 C brown sugar
On Cooking Day
  • 1 bag potato chips
  • 1 jar pickle spears

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Line a 9 x 13 baking dish with bottom halves of dinner rolls. (They should fill the dish and fit snug.)
  2. Top each with ham and cheese.
  3. Spread mayonnaise, if using, on each top half then place top on each one. Cover with plastic wrap.
  4. Add next 6 ingredients to a small microwave safe bowl with lid.
To Cook
  1. Uncover sandwiches. Warm sauce in microwave until butter is melted. Mix well and brush over sandwiches with pastry brush.
  2. Bake covered with foil in 400 degree oven for 10 minutes. Uncover and bake additional 5 – 10 minutes or until tops are golden brown.
  3. Serve with chips and pickle spears.
