I went to Albertsons to buy my groceries for this week’s meal plan and saw something interesting in the meat department. I needed pork chops and they were priced $15-$17 for a family pack of thick boneless loin chops. I quickly noticed that the pork tenderloin was only $10 and it weighed more than the package of chops. I asked the butcher to cut the loin into chops for me and she did for free! I saved $5 just by looking for other options.
I am not sure why it was priced so differently. Be on the lookout at your grocery store for options. It was sure worth the 5 extra minutes to save me $5!
