Looking for easy freezer meals?
I am all about time saving and doing my regular cooking hour is all I can squeeze into a busy week. I do not want to add another few hours to make freezer meals but I love having them on hand. The easiest way I can fill my freezer without doing alot of extra work is to make more of what I am already making.
Here is the part I think you will like…..
The August menu has several new features. One of them is the new freezer meal option. Each weekly menu will now have at least one meal marked “freezable”. Since you will already be making your 5 dinners in 1 hour, it will be super easy to just double (or triple) the “freezable” recipes during your cooking hour.
Just by doubling(or tripling) the ingredients for the freezable meals, you get the best of both worlds. Assembling 4-5 more dinners will only add 5-10 more minutes to your cooking hour. After a few weeks you will have a well stocked freezer!
Maybe something like this one……….ahhhhh isn’t she beautiful?
You could get really ambitious and make 5 of each freezable recipe. You won’t have to cook on the weekends ever again!!
To adjust your grocery list for more ingredients just mark or highlight the items you need to buy double or triple of. This will be quick and easy at the grocery store. Anything marked or highlighted, buy double!
Be sure to buy extra freezer bags and disposable 9×13 aluminum pans. You will also need a sharpie to label the containers.
I can’t wait to hear how this works for you all! The August menu will be ready on Friday so clean out the freezer and make room for some super easy dinners!
