Ingredients

Prep
  • 3 pound pot roast any kind
  • 1 C frozen chopped onion
  • 1 t dried thyme
  • 1 1/2 C beef broth
  • 1 can tomato paste 6 oz
  • 1/3 C heavy cream
  • 1/4 C flour
On Cooking Day
  • 1 package pasta any kind
  • 6 C salad greens

Instructions

To Assemble
  1. Add first 5 ingredients to large zipper bag. Zip and squish to mix.
To Cook
  1. Pour roast and sauce/marinade into crock. Cook on low for 8-10 hours.
  2. Mix the cream and flour and add to crock last 30 minutes of cook time or 30 minutes before serving.
  3. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  4. Shred roast with 2 forks and serve over pasta with salad on the side.
