These could easily be done in 1 hour or less!
We like to make treats for friends, neighbors and teachers for Christmas. This year we are making Christmas fortune cookies. They are so easy to make.
I found boxes of fortune cookies at WalMart $1.42 for a 12ct. box.
I used almond bark melting chocolate in the white vanilla flavor but you could use chocolate, carmel or even fancy colored melting discs from the craft supply store.
I put the almond bark in my little slow cooker and used a slow cooker liner to make clean up easy.
Set it to low for about 45 minutes then to warm so it does not burn.
Watch it and stir often when on the low setting to prevent burning.
Dip the fortune cookies in the almond bark and sprinkle with festive sprinkles. Cool on wax paper.
Deliver in holiday chinese food style boxes.
I found them at Hobby Lobby and WalMart for around .50-1.00 ea.
You can find the real deal on ebay for pretty cheap too.
We may even leave these out for Santa this year! :)
